
Habit creation, continued...
This is for the moments when you just don't want to do it (because those moments will absolutely happen).
Try leaving the door open, cracked, even just UNLOCKED so your *mom brain* voice can step in and do what she does best.
She holds the line, the standard, and the longer term vision for you. She's got great ideas on how to support you and what you say you want.
"Yes, I know it can feel so hard to XYZ when you don't want to, AND we're doing it anyway because ABC. Not because I said so, but because it's my job to take care of you as you learn to take care of yourself."
Tap into that voice of love and (self) leadership, just as you do when your kiddos don't want to brush their teeth / go to sleep / go to school.
Leave space for the possibility of letting mom brain talk you into action, just to get the ball rolling.
Once the ball is rolling, if it's still a big NO, trust that you can cross that bridge when you get there.
